The Nook On Five - Cheltenham’s only rooftop restaurant, which is headed by Michelin-starred chef John Burton-Race - is this Easter launching a collection of luxury, artisanal chocolate eggs - each one handcrafted and made-to-order by their in-house chocolatier, Marjolaine Boutegroud. Marjolaine trained in Bordeaux before honing her craft under the tutelage of Burton-Race and award-winning chocolatier Ben Le Prevost. 

 

A first for the restaurant, this small, considered collection features three offerings, all crafted with an expertly precise hand from the finest produce and with a deep respect for the ingredients. The dark chocolate eggs are made with 70% cocoa chocolate and the milk chocolate eggs with 40% cocoa, with the balance made up of pure cocoa butter - reflecting the same uncompromising approach to ingredients used across The Nook On Five’s pastry kitchen. 

The collection includes: 

  • The Nook Medium Egg – A celebration of a classic, made with a decadent twist. This traditional hollow milk chocolate egg is formed from whole milk chocolate of the highest quality. No shortcuts, just skill, good ingredients and a great deal of care - RRP £12.95.
  • Assorted Mini Egg Collection - Four miniature eggs in four expertly curated flavours; Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Praline, Knafeh & Pistachio, and Simple Milk Chocolate. The collection brings together the full range of Marjolaine’s personal Easter favourites, the perfect choice for a thoughtful gift or a personal indulgence - RRP £8.95. 
  • The Easter Gift Set - The full collection of The Nook On Five’s Easter eggs; ideal for anyone looking to add to their egg hunt collection with a more deluxe prize or two, or those who just can’t make up their mind - RRP £19.95
