On February 17th, Chinese New Year begins and welcomes the Year of the Horse. To celebrate the season of new energy and fortune, Cutter & Squidge unveils its 2026 Lunar New Year Collection – a joyful line-up of indulgent cakes, cookies, brownies and gifting sets inspired by festive flavours, lucky symbolism, and meaningful sharing moments.
This year’s collection blends modern indulgence with Lunar New Year traditions, featuring beautifully crafted treats wrapped in a limited-edition sleeve designed by illustrator Georgina Leung (@chop_stick_n_poke).
Annabel and Emily Lui, co-founders of Cutter & Squidge comment: “We have long admired Georgina's work and are so excited she agreed to collaborate with us on this auspicious occasion. Being Chinese, we are incredibly proud of this range; each year we have the opportunity to put a modern Cutter & Squidge stamp on a traditional celebration. We hope our Lunar New Collection brings much joy and good fortune. Happy New Year!”
Cutter & Squidge is thrilled to host a Lunar New Year Mahjong Night at their Soho bakery on 18th February from 6-8pm, in collaboration with Dear Asia, London’s favourite Mahjong school.
