Loma Systems appoints new UK sales & service director

Leading global manufacturer of inspection systems for food quality and safety, Loma Systems, has recently announced the appointment of Ralph Mbanefo as its new UK Sales & Service Director, effective 1 April 2024.

With a background spanning 15 years in the engineering and manufacturing industry, Ralph brings a wealth of experience to the role. His journey has seen him excel in various capacities, from the shop floor to his most recent role as a country manager. This diverse experience equips him with a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Ralph will report directly to Simon Spencer, Group Managing Director of Loma Systems. In his new role, Ralph will drive the sales and service teams, with a clear mandate to foster growth in these areas. He will also explore new industries and develop innovative strategies to expand Loma's market presence.

Commenting on his appointment, Ralph said: "Loma Systems is a well-respected company, and this position will challenge me to grow in new areas. The primary reason I was drawn to this role is the opportunity to influence both sales and service. In many companies, these functions are split into separate roles, but at Loma, I have the unique chance to drive both areas forward.

“In my first six months, I aim to standardise the approach for sales and service to ensure consistency and excellence for Loma's customers. I also plan to bring teams together to foster a more unified and collaborative environment.”

Ralph’s strategy for driving growth includes a strong push on innovation. This involves not only introducing new equipment but also ensuring existing customers are aware of any risks in their current equipment portfolio. He emphasises the need to be mindful of the equipment landscape and stay ahead of potential issues.
