You have just launched a new wine brand. Why did you choose ABK6, which is already the name of your Cognac brand?
Quite simply because it’s my name! ABK6 is the abbreviated version of my family name, spelled ABÉCASSIS. The name ABK6 reflects our values and our philosophy: offering excellent quality at a reasonable price, and appealing to new generations through a contemporary presentation. In the current crisis context, building a strong brand is essential to sell wine. Over the past 20 years, we have built a powerful Cognac brand with ABK6; I now want to achieve the same success in wine, in Bordeaux.

Why did you invest in Bordeaux?
I chose to invest in exceptional terroirs in Bordeaux, convinced that they can be expressed through a fresh and forward-looking vision. True to the spirit of boldness that has guided ABK6 for more than twenty years, I want to keep moving forward, innovating and surprising through strong choices, offering a modern and inspired interpretation of these great terroirs.

Do you think Bordeaux needs to reinvent itself? And how does ABK6 stand out?
Bordeaux must continue to be what this region has always been: an exceptional terroir for producing great wines… while also adapting to evolving consumption trends. The consumption of white wines is increasing, and the Entre-Deux-Mers appellation—where we have established ourselves—is a remarkable area for producing these accessible white wines that are fresh, mineral, and fruit-forward.

ABK6 brings a relaxed, modern approach to drinking Bordeaux wines. For reds, demand today is increasingly shifting toward fresher, lighter styles. ABK6 offers quality wines that are easy to drink, presented in a modern design and true to the ABK6 spirit: free-spirited, accessible, yet demanding in terms of quality. ABK6 embodies a more relaxed way of enjoying Bordeaux wines:
- a red wine meant to be enjoyed slightly chilled — a 100% Merlot that is indulgent and light, at 11.5% alcohol.
- an appealing blend of white and red grape varieties marketed as Vin de France Blanc.
Thanks to the expertise of the oenologists from the Rolland & Associés laboratory and the attentive care of our winemaker, Adeline Magère, our wines are already receiving recognition:
- Gold Medal – Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2026 for Château Finet Bordeaux Blanc 2025
- Gold Medal – World Drink Awards 2025 for our Traditional Method Brut Prestige - Gold Medal (90 points) – Beverage Testing Institute 2025 for our ABK6 Vin de France Blanc 2024.
