Alcohol Free Pinot Noir Launches In Morrisons Ahead Of Christmas

More than 60 per cent of Brits drink more alcohol over Christmas compared to a typical weekend, a survey has revealed.

 

However, there is a growing swathe of ‘sober curious’ with 36 per cent trying to cut down or cut out alcohol, the poll by alcohol-free specialists Eisberg showed.

 

It comes as Eisberg has launched a premium Pinot Noir in Morrisons stores from November 1, a new bottle from the Selection range.

 

‘All the wine without the alcohol’, Eisberg’s alcohol-free wine makes for the perfect replacement if you want to enjoy the taste and essence of wine, but don’t want to wake up with a hangover in the morning. 

 

The alcohol-free brand is championing choice, proudly advocating moderation over abstinence and believes having more alternatives is crucial in encouraging people to cut down their alcohol intake. 

 

“People are buying and drinking less, but they’re buying better.” says Dan Harwood, Managing Director for Eisberg's SW Wines Europe. 

 

“Our existing Signature range is affordable and people love that they can pick up a bottle for £3-4 without really having to think about it. But there’s definitely been a shift, as the moderation trend has grown, to people looking for higher quality alcohol free wines, which is where Selection comes in.”



With aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and sweet spices, Eisberg Pinot Noir makes for a flawless accompaniment to a steak dinner, catching up with loved ones or decadent cheese and wine night. 

 

Available for £8, or just £6 with Morrisons More, taking a break from alcohol has never been easier or more enjoyable.

 

Dan Harwood, Managing Director for Eisberg's SW Wines Europe, said: “We are thrilled to be launching our Pinot Noir in Morrisons in October. 

 

“It’s a  rich red making it the perfect tipple for the festive period, pairing well with mince pies, chocolate and Christmas dinner.

 

“Everything about it, from the flavours to the branding has been considered, to make sure it still feels like a real wine. We want people to enjoy the experience of a glass of our Selection wines, in the same way you would if it had alcohol.

 

“By gently removing the alcohol from our wine, the flavour profile remains easily identifiable in comparison to the alcohol versions you love.”

 

The Eisberg Selection range also includes a pinot grigio, sparkling white, and sparkling rose, which are available for purchase on Amazon with hopes of launching in stores soon.
